DRAFT. This plain-language policy has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have a lawyer review it before the app is sold, transferred, monetized, or changed to collect any data.

The short version

We collect nothing. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads, no cookies, no tracking, and no server that receives what you type. Everything runs on your own phone or computer.

What stays on your device

So you do not have to retype things, the app saves what you enter (the prices, nights, guests, flight fare and travelers you type, the city you pick or type, the Good-reviews switch, the optional Airbnb service fee and tax percentages, and checklist ticks; the optional flight search boxes are not saved) in your browser’s localStorage on this device only. We cannot see it. It never leaves your device unless you tap an outside link (see below).

You can erase it any time with “Erase my saved data” at the bottom of the app, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. Removing the app from your home screen and clearing site data also removes it.

The copy button. The “Copy trip summary” button only places text on your own device’s clipboard when you tap it. Nothing is sent anywhere and nothing is saved.

Offline copy

The app uses a “service worker” to keep a copy of its own files on your device so it works without a connection. These are the app’s files only, not your personal information.

Fonts and files

The app’s font and images are served from the app itself. The app does not load fonts, scripts or trackers from other companies.

Outside links

If you tap an Expedia button or link (“See hotels on Expedia,” “Search flights on Expedia,” “Check prices on Expedia,” or “Top picks”) or a source link, your browser leaves the app and opens another company’s site in a new tab. From then on, that site’s own privacy policy applies, not ours. For Expedia, that is the Expedia privacy policy. We never see what you do there. Today the Expedia links go to our Expedia Travel Shop page and do not include the city or destination you picked. If we later add tracked or destination-specific links, the city or destination would be added to the link only when you tap it, and we will update this policy first. The city lists and price estimates are built into the app and load from this site. Choosing a city does not send it anywhere.

The flight search boxes. The optional From, To, Depart and Return boxes next to “Search flights on Expedia” are not saved. When you tap the button, the link carries only what you typed there (the airports or cities, the dates, and the number of travelers) to Expedia’s flight search. Nothing is sent until you tap, and if the boxes are empty or not valid the button opens Expedia’s plain Flights page. This link is not a tracked affiliate link.

The Airbnb button. The “Open real Airbnb listings” button is a plain link, not an affiliate link. When you tap it, your browser opens airbnb.com in a new tab, and the link itself carries only the city you picked or typed, the dates (only if you entered them in the optional date box) and the number of guests. Nothing is sent until you tap, and we never see what you do on Airbnb. From then on, Airbnb’s own privacy policy applies, not ours.

Airbnb price data. The Airbnb price figures come from Inside Airbnb and are built into the app. The app does not contact Inside Airbnb or Airbnb to get them. The same is true of the international hotel figures (MAQAMI Hotel Price Index, CC BY 4.0, INE Portugal for Lisbon, CC BY 4.0, and cited annual averages) and the currency rates (European Central Bank, Sep 23, 2026, used to convert prices to USD; Colombia’s official TRM of Sep 23, 2026 for Bogotá): they are built into the app, and the app does not contact those sources. Typing a city, including one not on our list, sends it nowhere until you tap an Airbnb or Expedia link.

Airport suggestions. The airport suggestions in Flight search come from a list built into the app (from OurAirports, public domain). The app does not contact anyone to get them, and what you type in the From and To boxes goes nowhere until you tap the Expedia flights link.

Web hosting

Whoever hosts the app’s files (a web host) may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and time of request, as most hosts do. We do not use those logs to identify you. [Owner: name the host and link its privacy policy here once the app is deployed.]

Affiliate disclosure

Affiliate link: we may earn a commission at no cost to you. TBT (by TRAVLNBIKE) takes part in the Expedia Group affiliate program. The Expedia buttons and links in the app are affiliate links, and each one is labeled. If you book through one, we may earn a commission from Expedia, and your price does not go up. Affiliate links do not change any number the calculator shows. We do not use Amazon Associates in this app.

When you tap an Expedia link, you leave the app. Expedia and its partners may set cookies or use tracking to credit us for the visit and to run their own site. That happens on Expedia’s site, under Expedia’s privacy policy, not ours. We do not add cookies or trackers to this app.

[Owner: when the tracked Expedia affiliate links are set up, confirm the program’s current terms and disclosure wording, and update this section if anything changes.]

Children

The app is a general travel tool and is not aimed at children. We collect no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If we ever change how the app handles data (for example adding accounts or analytics), we will update this page and the date above first. If the app is sold, the new owner must keep this promise or update this page before changing it.
